Historically, you could call into MFI and get a basic kitchen plan knocked up while you were in the store. However, these days, kitchen design is a highly skilled profession and creating a kitchen design for our customers takes a lot of time.
Roughly, most kitchen designs take us 4-5 days. This includes designing, refining, and preparing plans, visuals and quotations ready for presentation to you.
Although we don’t charge, there is a significant cost to us and we therefore ask for a well-considered brief and budget from you before we proceed.
An initial design consultation and measurement at your home typically last between one to one and a half hours. During this time, we delve into your requirements, discussing your usage preferences, desired layout, seating needs, appliance choices, potential room alterations, and any special considerations for children or pets. In-depth measurements are taken for precise planning.
